DIY Festival Geek Sunglasses

A couple of months ago, whilst perusing through ELLE I came across an unusual pair of glasses covered in lace with little fancy decorations around the rims. Based on the old school Ray Ban Geek style they looked kind of sarcastic and fun. It reminded me of how women in ‘Pride and Prejudice’ times would shield their eyes from the summer sun with lace fascinators and mask or even those cute umbrellas which today can only be pulled off by the most extrovert, stylish goddesses around. This pair brings the classy lace back into the realms of eye-protection whilst beign exceptionally stylish and cute.

They are designed by Ermanno Scervino and the price is ‘on request’, translation; ‘you can’t afford it’.
I was inspired to try this design out and with the patience of a saint and spending days with superglue on my fingertips I can gladly say that I am quite happy with these little beauties.

I have four pairs available to buy which I am selling on my eBay account
